Isacks is a former addictions counselor and personal trainer. He studied acupuncture and Oriental medicine at the Finger Lakes School of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine at New York Chiropractic College, where he now serves as a full time faculty clinician
Isacks is the recipient of the Golden Needle Award for excellence in the field of acupuncture, as well as the award for Clinical Excellence during his clinical rotations. He has special training in acupuncture for pain management utilizing abdominal microsystem acupuncture-- a pain free and highly effective treatment. He also has received special training in the treatment of Bell's Palsy.
As a pain specialist, Bryan Isacks, M.S., L.Ac. is constantly seeking to perfect his acupuncture skills. He combines elements of Japanese acupuncture, trigger point therapy, Traditional Chinese Medicine, and multiple microsystems to provide pain relief for the most chronic and recalcitrant diseases.
Isacks lives in Ithaca with his wife Andrea, his daughter Sophie, and his son Ryder.
